Our Lady of the Annunciation Pagewood and St Agnes Catholic Primary Schools Matraville

The two primary schools will amalgamate at the exciting new school campus in Matraville. We welcome the students from both primary schools as we bring together two school communities with a shared history and charism of the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart to co-create a thriving and collaborative community.

Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School

Our new school in Matraville will offer contemporary new buildings and state-of-the-art facilities. This school will have capacity for 420 students in two classes per year from K to 6 (two-stream school).

The multi-use spaces will serve to guide and inform learner agency in how students transition seamlessly across and between larger learning commons, small groups and personalised settings. The school’s flexible design will evolve teaching and support long-term needs, equipping students to engage in a constantly changing world, and providing the best opportunities for our students to access purpose-built facilities and be part of the school that will grow with them on their journey.

Champagnat Catholic College Pagewood

The vision for the college is to build innovative, flexible and contemporary learning spaces that will broaden the curriculum offerings and enhance pedagogical practices. The college will offer opportunities for students to develop and grow spiritually, academically and socially in a pastorally caring environment focused on Gospel values, excellence and striving to achieve personal best. We want to develop spaces for learning and faith formation that can be used by partner primary schools and the parish.

Champagnat Catholic College will transition to a coeducational secondary school with enrolments accepted from March 2021 for boys and girls starting Year 7 in 2023 and will grow in school size to six streams in the following years.
